BBAA Policy & Research Committee
Terms of Reference
• To facilitate the interaction between policy makers/ decision makers within central, regional and local government; academic and research institutions and the early stage investment industry
• To share and exchange information on relevant developments in policy and related initiatives and communicate these to the membership through the BBAA, using relevant communication channels- newsletter, web-site conferences
• To identify and recommend areas of policy development or policy changes related to the early stage investment market where BBAA should take action in its role as a lobby and interface with Government
• To identify opportunities for research and consultations that BBAA through the Committee should initiate or collaborate with
• To identify research being carried out in the market place and to identify how the BBAA and its membership can contribute
• To identify areas where research is needed to contribute to the creation of favourable policy and regulation for the early stage investment industry
• To hold three or four meetings per year
•The Minutes of these meetings to be presented to the BBAA Board once approved by the Chair of this Committee
